Located at the top of Mount Lussari, the Rifugio Al Santuario restaurant offers you the chance to enjoy the typical dishes of Friulian cuisine while enjoying a splendid view of the Julian Alps mountains.
HUNTER’S PLATE
In the ‘piatto del cacciatore’ (hunter’s plate) you will have the chance to taste all the flavours of the Friulian tradition, such as venison in salmì with porcini mushrooms, gnocchi with homemade sausage and polenta.
ROOMS
The refuge has two bright guest rooms, one with a double bed for two people and the other with a bunk bed for four people.

Rifugio al Santuario
Perfect for mountain lovers, the Rifugio Al Santuario del Monte Lussari is situated in an excellent location, a perfect starting point for excursions, trekking and mountain sports.
Equipped with all comforts, the refuge will allow you to relax, rest and taste typical Friulian cuisine while practically immersed in the surrounding landscape.
Spacious and airy, the restaurant offers large spaces to accommodate groups, families, groups of friends and couples.
The restaurant
In a splendid location on the Julian Alps, the restaurant offers traditional Friulian dishes, such as frico with potatoes and polenta, venison in salami, grilled sausages, gnocchi with sausage and more.
Dishes with simple ingredients, but with a rich and decisive taste and flavour that will transport you to a mountain atmosphere, far from everyday life.
And if you really don’t want to taste the dishes of Friulian cuisine and want a quick and simple dish, you can always order one of the pizzas from our menu.
The rooms
The refuge has two bright guest rooms, one with a double bed for two people and the other with a bunk bed for four people.
Equipped with all comforts, the rooms have full bathrooms and a beautiful terrace with a mountain view from which to admire the landscape of the Julian Alps and Montasio.
In order to sleep in the refuge, you must take the cable car so that you are on time for the last run of the lift.
It is not possible to go up by other means.
